Supporting our church’s mission is as easy as 1-2-3

Simply place checks or cash in an offering envelope and drop it in the offering plate as it goes by. However, as we experienced twice this year, when church is canceled due to bad weather, the plate doesn’t get passed. With the introduction of Credit/Debit cards via Online or Mobile App, this situation can be avoided.
- Giving App
Download the ‘GivePlus Church’ App from either the Apple Store or Google Play.
Once downloaded, turn on location services, click on ‘find churches near me’, select our church, and set up one-time or recurring donations from either your bank account or a credit/debit card. An option will be available to help offset the card processing fees. You can also manage and view your giving from the convenience of your smartphone!
Click here => Donate. Follow the onscreen instructions to create a profile and schedule your recurring donations. You may also scan the QR Code below with your smart phone to set up and manage your one-time and recurring gifts, using your smartphone’s Web Browser. You’ll have the same choices of bank account, credit, or debit as with the Giving App.
With all of these options, it’s never been more convenient to financially support the mission of Lakewood UMC. Adopting electronic giving will provide for more consistent cash flow, avoiding the summer vacation and snow-bird slumps that challenge us each year.
